Messy, free-flowing data to encourage chance encounter.

What of you took data and instead of structuring it in a linear way, you let it flow around the space, free yet within certain rules and parameters?

This example uses Perlin noise to create an abstract structure that whilst seemingly messy at first view is actually born from a system. Does this this system allow you to bump into things we might not no we were looking for. A purposefully chaotic system designed to encourage serendipity and chance discovery. Let’s not forget that many advances in science and medicine were born from chance and mistakes. Maybe we could have a tool that encourages that approach?
