Porcupine

Large spines emanating from organic shapes give you a visual sense of the dataset.

Metrics from the data create large spine like lines emanating from the data itself. I could imagine brushing these spines and having them react, maybe have bits of data “fall out” from the spines themselves.

I’ve also transposed a random selection of values representing some data. Is there a case for actually showing a mass or actual values instead of visually abstracting data?
